Stuart L. Sims is a member of Brock Clay's Litigation Practice Group. He represents individuals and corporate clients in the areas of corporate, real estate, commercial, and securities litigation Mr. Sims broad range of corporate and commercial litigation experience includes general litigation for corporations ranging in size from the Fortune 500 to start-up ventures; business ownership disputes; joint-venture disputes; and employment law matters. Mr. Sims also represents clients in securities arbitrations, contract disputes, including those involving restrictive covenants, across the Southeast. Mr. Sims has represented both property owners and public utilities in eminent domain matters and served as lead counsel in landlord-tenant disputes, boundary line and easement disputes, adverse possession claims and has been successful in defeating materialman's/mechanic's liens across North Georgia. He also served as outside counsel to Cobb County in zoning and land use litigation matters. An Alabama native, Mr. Sims graduated from the University of Georgia in 2001 and received his J.D. in 2005 from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He is admitted to all courts in the State of Georgia, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. He is an active member of the Marietta and Cobb County communities through his involvement in the Marietta Rotary Club and Cobb County Chamber of Commerce (as a member of the 2007 Leadership Cobb class and Leadership Cobb Alumni Assoc.), and as a member of The Church of the Apostles in Atlanta.
