Mr. Calhoun concentrates his practice in real estate law. He manages Brock Clay’s Real Estate practice in the areas of development, land use, zoning, and eminent domain. Mr. Calhoun has over 25 years of experience in all phases of land development and use including rezoning, variances, utility and property taxation. In eminent domain cases, his settlements and awards are routinely substantially in excess of condemning authorities' appraisals. Mr. Calhoun’s familiarity with local codes and professional relationships with the Boards, Commissions, Councils, and staff members enables the firm to achieve positive results in zoning and land development matters. Mr. Calhoun was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1977. He is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia Local Government, Real Property, and Trial Practice sections. |
