Mrs. Williams is a member of Brock, Clay’s Educational Law team. She was a Summer Intern at Brock, Clay in 2007. While attending the University Of Georgia School of Law, she was a Student Intern in the University School of Law Special Education Practicum representing children in special education cases working directly with school administrators and educators. Her responsibilities included client interviews, case investigations, negotiations, and mediation advocacy. In 2006 Mrs. Williams was a Summer Intern with the Georgia Department of Corrections, Legal Office where she researched and wrote memoranda on policy and legal issues regarding contract law, employment law, and issues involving incarcerated and supervised offenders. She also assisted with the development of a master plan for the Georgia prison system to address potential Constitutional concerns.

Mrs. WIlliams earned her undergraduate degree from Agnes Scott with a BA in Psychology. She was the recipient of the American Business Women’s Association scholarship and was on the Honor List while attending Agnes Scott. Upon entering University of Georgia School of Law, Mrs. Williams received the National Black Law Students Association Public Grant Scholarship. She was active with the Student Bar Association, a reporter for the Davenport-Benham Black Law Students Association, president of the Equal Justice Foundation, a Senior Articles Editor of the Editorial Board for the Southern Regional Black Law Students Association Law Journal, and a member of the University of Georgia Mock Trial Team. She graduated from the University of Georgia Law School in May, 2008.

Demonstrating a concern for the community, Mrs. Williams has been a volunteer for “My House” which is a home for abandoned infants and children waiting to be placed in safe, permanent homes.
