Mr. Hammock is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Transactional Department, focusing on real estate and local government matters. Prior to joining the firm, he spent 8 years as an in-house attorney with Cobb County handling civil and transactional matters, reaching the position of Senior Associate County Attorney. He has also represented local governments in private practice and has experience in all aspects of land use matters as affecting local governments. He has extensive experience in the drafting and review of ordinances, contracts, and other legal documents. Mr. Hammock received both his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, and Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia. He has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1995 and has been admitted to practice in all of the courts of the State of Georgia as well as the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. He lives in the Kennesaw area with his wife Mary, a pediatric nurse practitioner, and their three children. An avid walker, he has walked to the top of Kennesaw Mountain more than one thousand times. He is a member of the Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta. |
