Ms. Shaw is a member of Brock Clay’s Corporate and Transactional Department.  Ms. Shaw helps businesses and families with lending, business, transactional, commercial real estate and estate planning matters. Ms. Shaw uses her knowledge and experience to provide practical legal advice on business start-ups, transactions, mergers, acquisitions, expansions, split-ups, shareholder and operating agreements,  business sales, commercial leases, contracts, commercial realty closings, commercial lending and SBA loans. Cheryl also assists businesses and families with all aspects of estate planning, including wills, living directives, trust preparation, estate tax planning, estate administration, succession planning and exit strategies.

Ms. Shaw obtained her Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law, and her Master of Law in Taxation from Emory University School of Law.  She was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1987.
