Mr. Riney serves the firm in its Corporate and Transactional Department. He provides tax, general corporate and business, and estate planning counsel to closely held businesses and individuals. Mr. Riney works closely with business owners in preparation of tax efficient succession planning and other business exit strategies. Prior to joining Brock, Clay, Calhoun & Rogers, P.C., Mr. Riney obtained a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Florida, and a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. Riney served on the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, and as a Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure. Mr. Riney is currently licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina, and is preparing for admission to the State Bar of Georgia. |
