Mr. Clay is a partner at Brock Clay. He has extensive experience in complex civil litigation, including defending class actions, and is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He is also a public policy expert who helps facilitate changes in law to benefit clients and helps businesses secure relationship with government agencies.

He began his public service career as a Cobb County District Attorney, and then became a Commissioner for Cobb County, Georgia.  After being elected to the Georgia State Senate, Mr. Clay served as the Chairman of the Cobb County Legislative Delegation and Minority Leader of the Georgia State Senate. He served six terms in the Georgia State Senate and received numerous awards and recognitions for his service. He emerged on the national scene as Chairman of the Republican Party of Georgia during George W. Bush’s campaign for President in 2000.

His legal clients have included major businesses such as Rollins Corp., Simon Properties and Home Depot, and he makes frequent appearance in a variety of Courts, both State and Federal, on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Clay was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1978.
