Mr. Murphy is a member of Brock, Clay’s Educational Law team. He was a Summer Intern at Brock, Clay in 2007. In addition he interned as the Law Clerk for Judge Craig L. Schwall, Superior Court, Atlanta Judicial Circuit. In 2006 Mr. Murphy served as a Law Clerk for Judge Susan P. Tate, Probate Court of Athens-Clarke County working on guardianship, conservatorship and probate cases. As an undergraduate at the University of Georgia, Mr. Murphy was the recipient of the Foundation Fellowship Scholarship which is the University’s premier merit scholarship program. He was also Undergraduate Mock Trial Association President, and active in the Student Government Association serving as Senator, External Affairs Chair and Presidential Candidate. Mr. Murphy studied abroad in several countries including England, Hungary, Ireland and Cuba. He graduated Cum Laude with high honors with a BA in History and Political Science. While a student in the University of Georgia School of Law, Mr. Murphy held the offices of Secretary and President of the Student Bar Association. He also was a participant in the Advocacy Competition, an intern in the Prosecutorial Clinic, and was president of the Dean William Tate Honor Society. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in May, 2008. |
