Mr. Harris practices in the firm’s Corporate & Transactional Department, focusing on the areas of Real Estate Law, General Corporate and Business Law, Estate Planning and Estate Administration. In May of 2006, Mr. Harris received his Juris Doctorate degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama where he served as Articles Editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy Law Review. He was also selected by the law school's faculty to participate in the Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellowship. Mr. Harris is also an accomplished artist and creative consultant. As an artist, he creates custom art, art installations and live performance paintings. His works are displayed in many private estate collections and businesses, but his paintings are primarily created for, and displayed in, churches and ministries all across the country, including North Point Community Church, Buckhead Church, Athens Church, Roswell Street Baptist Church, and many others. Mr. Harris has put his artistic talents to good use for Brock Clay by participating along with the firm in the Lil’ Chickens of Marietta, a local non-profit organization, and painting one of the statues revealed throughout Marietta in early 2008. Mr. Harris was born in Kentucky, but has lived the majority of his life here in the metro Atlanta area. He is actively involved with his church, Buckhead Church. Mr. Harris is also very active in the community and various non-profit organizations, such as The National Christian Foundation (Rick Pearson Memorial Fund), Fully Rendered (a non-profit dedicated to furthering the arts through visual art exhibits, galleries and installations), and various other community organizations in the metro Atlanta area. Mr. Harris was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2006 and to the Florida Bar in 2008. |
